BACK TO THE ROOTS PARTY with

From the first edition, one of the highlights of the CHAMPS has been the Saturday night party. To celebrate the return to Leysin, the theme for the night of Saturday March 6th will be “Back to the Roots”. The festivities will be filled with fun and conviviality with standout DJs from the best parties throughout the history of the CHAMPS: DJ Idem, DJ Key and JP. For the occasion, rock ‘n’ roll will be back as well! A Swiss band formed especially for the occasion will accompany a live art show by New York based painter, Billy the Artist. This will be a defining moment of the NESCAFÉ CHAMPS that is not to be missed!

Billy the Artist – Painter – New York

Saturday, 6th of march

Saturday March 6th, 2010 – Place to Be – "Back to the Roots” Party "Create your own reality” is the mantra that Billy the Artist lives by and the reality he has created is one of great success. Billy captures the energy and power of the city around him, creating what he calls "Urban Primitive Pop”, a kaleidoscope of puzzle-like images that celebrate the diversity and joy of human spirit.

Billy the Artist will take part in a live painting show on March 6, 2010 during the "Back to the Roots” party at the Place to Be in Leysin. He will be painting a live canvas during a rock concert of the band "21st Century Schizoid Men”.

A unique moment not to be missed!
